Letter to the Editor
Be Heard. Write A Letter To The Editor.
Letters to the editor matter. They’re read by key decision makers, elected officials, activists and community members. In other words, the people who can help advocate for the change you want when it comes to tobacco-related issues. When writing a letter to the editor, keep the following in mind:
- keep your letter focused on one idea
- be positive
- localize and personalize how the issue effects your family, friends and community
- be concise – limit your letter to 200-300 words.
